How Should I Prepare My Car For Transport?

Make Your Car Ready to Ship

To make sure your car is ready for transport, here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Remove all personal items from the vehicle.
  • Ensure the vehicle is clean to make any existing damage easier to spot.
  • Keep the fuel level low (about 1/4 tank) to reduce weight.
  • Check for any visible damage and document it with photos.
  • Check for any leaks or mechanical issues.
  • Disable the alarm system if applicable.
  • Make sure your vehicle is in neutral and the handbrake is disengaged.
