How Much Gas Should Be Left In The Tank Before Shipping?

Leave Gas in the Tank

We recommend leaving about a quarter (1/4) tank of gas or less in your vehicle before it’s shipped. This amount is ideal because it allows the driver to safely load and unload your car, without adding unnecessary weight to the transport truck. Too much fuel can increase overall weight and may violate transport safety regulations.

If you still have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact one of our shipping advisors at 877-325-7288, John will guide you through the process and make sure everything goes smoothly.
