Do I Need To Pay A Deductible If My Car Is Damaged?

Deductible During Car Transport

No, you do not need to pay a deductible if your vehicle is damaged during transport. The deductible listed on the motor carrier’s insurance policy applies to the carrier, not to you as the customer. However, keep in mind that the damage amount must meet or exceed the carrier’s deductible for a claim to be filed.
