2 J's Auto Transport

Can I ship a vehicle that has low ground clearance?

Low Ground Clearance Vehicle Transport Now!

Yes! 2 J’s Auto Transport can transport a vehicle with low ground clearance, but special care is required. If your car has 4 inches of ground clearance or more, it can usually be transported safely using open car transport. However, if the clearance is less than 4 inches, we highly recommend choosing enclosed auto transport with a lift gate to avoid damage during loading and unloading.

Low-clearance vehicles, especially sports cars or custom builds are at risk of scraping or bottoming out on a standard ramp. If your vehicle has additional parts such as a front spoiler, custom body kit, or chin splitter, we recommend removing them before pick-up, as they may further reduce clearance and increase risk.
